Trying Harder

Hi there family. I am going to try harder to update this site now that it's nearly Spring and the pictures are getting cuter. Here's a couple from our weekend home in St. Louis I thought you would enjoy!

We got to the zoo this past weekend, with MawMaw, Beans. Frank, and the Cousins. Jake really enjoyed seeing the "Later Gators." At least, that's what he called them.
But his favorite part of the zoo was the free map. I have 15 pictures of Jake standing in front of various animals, looking exactly like this:It was really mass pandemonium, as you can see:
We also got to meet Jess's new baby Aiden on Saturday. I can't tell you who was more smitten, me or Annie:Sunday was gorgeous, and the kids enjoyed some time with PawPaw and Granjo sunning themselves out on the deck before we had to hit the road:


These were taken, of course, before the temperature went from 78 degrees to 40 degrees in the span of an hour. I am so ready for Spring!

Goody Two Shews Debut

What's going to go here? This is the blog that my blog as supposed to be-- the blog I can send my grandparents to. Where I can unabashedly post pictures of my kids, and trivial updates, and not cuss so much.

We'll see how that works out.

It's a compromise about something I have been worrying about for some time-- the blog was supposed to be a way for our around-the-country to keep in touch, but then I got all effity eff, and well, you're aware of what happened. Idle hands are the devil's blogspace.

Hmmm. Compelling. Mommy not cussing...
